First Round Summary Response: Rod, Oct 9

Rod Rees to Piet Hut

Piet,

During our dialog we demonstrated that your working hypothesis, although difficult to express, is fully valid and worthy. We developed several key concepts, one of them being timelessness. By "letting go" of time we are released from the constraints of memory (i.e., our "past") and of expectations (i.e., our "future"). Thus, we become free to step lightly into the realm of the not-yet-known, which is always available in the here & now, and become fully absorbed in the moment, naturally and effortlessly.

We still have a long way to go to operationalize this process, but we've made a beginning.

Rod
