Heloisa to Piet, Rod and Maria
Piet, Rod and Maria,
For a couple of days,
after
meditating and reaching a relaxed state, I attempted to view reality as
devoid
of causality. In that state, I was initially able to conceive reality
as one
living organism in a state of flux, where nothing needed a specific
context in
order to emerge and nothing caused anything else, for everything just
was, just
simply was.
I realized,
however, that I was
separate of that reality, for I was aware of an “I” experiencing that
event. I
was the “experiencer” separate of the “object of my experience”. I was
not able
to become that reality devoid
of causality that I was attempting to
experience.
In
persisting with the exercise
for a few more days I was then able, for a few moments, to suddenly
just rest
directly with the “I” which thought that it was separate of the “object
of its
experience”, of that which thought that it could not become one with
that
reality. In other words, it was only when letting go directly into the
mind
that was searching to remove the concept of causality, that I was
suddenly able
to reach a state of a present awareness devoid of causality as we
understand it
in our linear concept of time.
Does that
make any sense? Is
letting go directly into the mind that seeks, a way of transcending the
dual
reality we are so conditioned to experience?
