Heloisa to Piet and Rod

Piet and Rod,

I plan on testing the working hypothesis by initially trying to detect the physical tension associated to desires, wishes, judgements, recollections of the past and expectations of the future in a different way than the one I am used to in my ordinary state of consciousness. The attempt is to observe the tension devoid of the content of the narrative associated to it. It’s a shift of awareness away from the content of the situation. When losing the focus of this experience, I can gently rest with that which thinks that it is impossible to be present with the tension devoid of a narrative; that which thinks that it is impossible to recognize the nature of the mind.

I intend to do this repeatedly and be present with whatever may result of it, without any expectations of what may come.

Heloisa
