Frank's Monthly Summary

This is indeed the great perfection. THIS is it. My unwillingness to accept that is also it. When I am in the meditation hall meditating on a deity, this is it. When I rest in awareness, then that's it. When someone yells at me in traffic, this is no less it. Tony Parsons, sums it up succinctly something (quote from memory) "People often have a non-dual experience of liberation. Then usually the ego comes and tries to own the experience and it's lost. When it is seen that this is also it, then it's all over."

This month was about going back to the basics, to awareness itself and unraveling the mystery of wh from there. I experimented with allowing devotion and surrender to this simplicity. It moisturizes the practice delightfully and to be completely honest, my life as well.

The "Everything" in the wh turned out to be no less explosive then the "perfect". Blows your mind out. What is everything? Whenever I practice, meditate, contemplate, inquire, the secret seemed to be to include the subject in the "everything". The meditator, the inquirer, the observer, the awarer…"I" is also part of the meditation.

For example if "I" see in my meditation that the world is an illusion that is only half of the story. When I see that the I seeing this is as much of an illusion as anything else, only then the mind gets wings and flies. When I saw that objects are made of awareness that's one thing, when it was noticed that this applies to my arm, my head, my body as well, the fun began.

When the "Everything" blew open a change happened this month. It appeared to be profound. Because also the one doing these practices, searching for truth, looking for enlightenment, living this life, was included and no less of a mirage than everything else. Woohoo!
