Rod, I like your
suggestion of thoroughly exploring
various aspects of (not)trying to (not)try, before we actually spend
our one
full day doing so. In general, I have noticed how I have started to
work with
other experiments, too, well before the day we were scheduled to do
them
full-time. And of course the main idea of the working hypothesis itself
is to
hold that in mind continuously, rather than just as a one-day
engagement—easier
said than done, I know!
