Jake's Monthly Summary

The first month passed very fast. I investigated a few topics related to the WH: Time, perfection, imperfection, duality between consciousness and the body, looking at my deeper self, Ego, breathing, stopping, relaxing, opening, anti-WH, chains of thoughts mechanism, emptiness, fear, completeness…

All those different approaches are interconnected; they seem to each be a facet of the same object. In some way they all fit in a full wonderful picture. They are parts of this evolving practice, but they are not the practice itself. Those topics are only a way to help the mind to see more clearly. I have the impression that slowly the mind is less involved in the 'seeing' and that there is something else doing the 'seeing'.

In the beginning I was going in all directions. As the weeks went by, I focused more deeply on certain topics like Time and Ego. Accompanying every investigation, I saw Fear appear in the form of questioning, uncertainty, clinging, impatience and discomfort. Now that I know that Fear has many disguises, I might be able to recognize it more easily. The Working Hypothesis tells us that all is wonderful and accessible right here and right now, therefore we do not have to worry about the strange Unknown.
